Information we collect and how we collect it

We collect data and/or personal information such as your email address, name, date of birth, phone number and shipping address when you provide it to us in participating in contests and sweepstakes, filling out contact forms as well as your sign-up for our Newsletter or you placing an order in one of our shops.   • Social Media information, such as profile information (only collected in limited circumstances like Social Media based contests and sweepstakes). In posting and sharing pictures and information publicly, the user agrees that the content will be seen by the general public. 

By participating and providing this information to us you agree on us collecting, storing and using the data.

How we use your information and who we share it with (third-parties)

Personal information collected will be used to provide Hofbräuhaus of America LLC services (such as to process and ship your orders and prizes or respond to consumer requests), to analyze and improve these services (research, evaluation and analytics purposes) as well as for fulfillment of contests and sweepstakes. If you register for our newsletter, we will send you emails about a variety of topics such as new products, special events, company information and promotional offers. 

We share email activity with our marketing email provider to help them better target email deployments to consumers. The collected email addresses through the company’s newsletter sign-up are solely excessed by the email platform provider who may share non-specific activity data. Contact and personal information collected within a contest or sweepstakes will be shared with a dedicated third-party that is taking care of fulfillment processes.

Authorized service providers to perform functions on our behalf (such as processing credit card payments, order tracking and delivery) only have access to your personal information as needed and are not permitted to use it for other purposes. We share account information and payment information with these service providers. Customer experience and feedback may also be shared with service providers to enhance your experience.
